A beautiful, rich burgundy red to look at, and every bit as elegant on the palate. A cooler vintage gives plenty of the dark fruit (blackcurrant, plums) you’d expect from this Bordeaux blend, layered sublimely with black tea, tobacco, cranberry and suggestions of dried herbs and bramble. Solid tannin structure and a long, chocolatey finish round out an exceptional cool-climate stunner.
