Product Description
St. Bernardus Tokyo is back—and looking (and tasting) better than ever. Originally brewed in 2012 to celebrate the opening of the first St. Bernardus-themed café in Tokyo, this beer was a one-off release. Fast forward eight years, and they’ve brought it back with a fresh new recipe and a slick new look.
The can art, created by Belgian illustrator Jonas Devacht, captures the energy of Tokyo’s Kanda district—home to the St. Bernardus café—with bright pops of colour and a nod to the city’s buzzing nightlife. It’s a perfect match for what’s inside the can: a refreshing, unfiltered ale brewed with a hefty dose of wheat.
Sitting somewhere between a Belgian witbier and a saison, St. Bernardus Tokyo is crisp, slightly hazy, and super drinkable. At 6%, it’s got a little punch without being too serious. Light spice, gentle fruitiness, and a soft body make it the kind of beer you can keep going back to—whether you’re reminiscing about a trip to Japan or just after something a bit different in your glass.
