This is a Central Otago masterpiece. It is pure, concentrated Pinot Noir from the famed Lowburn single vineyard. The alluvial gravels give this wine strong aromatics. You get a concentrated nose full of cherry, plum, and beautiful floral notes. It has a juicy mouthfeel. The body is well-weighted. Fine, chalky tannins give it serious structure. This is a graceful and seductive wine. It will reward cellaring, but it is delicious now.
