HBC – 522 is described as having an aroma and flavour profile of classic IPA characters; floral, citrus (especially bitter orange and grapefruit) and pine needles. Based on this, it was clear to us that a traditional West Coast IPA would be the best style to showcase the flavours of this experimental hop.
With this IPA you can expect plenty of flavour upfront and a smooth but lingering bitterness on the back end.
