Product Description
The Zema Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a delightful expression of Coonawarra's rich winemaking heritage. Pouring a deep ruby red, it greets you with inviting aromas of blackcurrant and plum, intertwined with hints of mint and subtle French oak. On the palate, ripe blackberry and mulberry flavors take center stage, complemented by balanced acidity and the region's characteristic chalky tannins. This medium-bodied wine has been aged in French oak hogshead barrels for 18 months, followed by two years in the bottle, resulting in a smooth and elegant profile. It's perfect for pairing with red meat dishes like filet mignon or meatballs in tomato sauce. While ready to enjoy now, it also has the potential to develop further complexity with at least ten years of careful cellaring.
