d'Arenberg d'Arrys Original Grenache Shiraz 750ml

A classic blend of spicy, red berried Shiraz with juicy, fragrant Grenache.

Tasting Note
A classic in its best form. Dark and vibrant ruby red colour with a perfumed bouquet of red and black berries. A uniquemouthcoating freshness combined with flavours of red cherries, black plums, strawberries and herbs de Provence. Fine and velvety tannins are very integrated. An extremely savoury and long finish makes this wine irresistible. A d’Arenberg classic perfect for every occasion.

Winemaking
Small batches of grapes are gently crushed and then transferred to five tonne headed down open fermenters. These batches remain separate until final blending. Foot treading is undertaken two thirds of the way through fermentation. The wine is then basket pressed and transferred to a mixture of new and used French oak barriques to complete fermentation. The barrel ferments are aged on lees, and there is no racking until final blending. This wine does not undertake fining or filtration prior to bottling.
