This is Syrah with soul. Grown on Kangaroo Island and made with a deft touch by Charlotte Hardy, Guroo 2021 is a beautifully expressive red that balances elegance with intensity. Hand-picked a touch riper, with 50% whole bunch in the ferment and a clever use of saignée and oak, it’s layered and aromatic. Think juicy blackberry and tart cranberry wrapped in a swirl of white pepper and violets. The structure is firm but inviting, and the finish lingers with spice and freshness. It’s thoughtful, bold, and full of character — just like its maker.
