Holgate Brit Pop Modern English IPA Sgl

The traditionalists and innovators at Holgate Brewhouse have teamed up to deliver a stunning fusion of heritage and modernity with Brit Pop, a modern take on the classic English IPA. Pouring a glowing, deep copper-amber with a tight, off white head, this release opens with inviting aromas of marmalade orange, sweet biscuit malt, and a fresh splash of resinous pine and floral spice. On the palate, a rich, traditional malt foundation of earthy Maris Otter malt provides a rounded, caramel-tinged mouthfeel that perfectly supports a vibrant dose of modern hops. Waves of ripe stone fruit, zesty citrus peel, and gentle herbal bitterness wash over the tongue, leading to a crisp, dry, and mouth-watering finish. It’s an exceptionally balanced, highly drinkable bridge between old-world craft and new-school hop flavor.
