Long before modern dry-hopping trends took over the cool room, Bavaria perfected the art of the cloud—and Woodend legends Holgate Brewhouse have captured that heritage in their timeless Hefe Weissbier. A personal favourite of co-founder Paul Holgate, this authentic tribute to the original hazy pours a glowing, cloudy golden-straw beneath an enormous, pillowy crown of dense white foam. The open, expressive German yeast strain does all the heavy aromatic lifting, releasing textbook aromas of ripe clove, fresh banana bread and cracked wheat. A lush malt bill heavy with malted wheat brings a soft, creamy, and thirst-quenching mouthfeel. It finishes bright, crisp, and refreshing with a gentle carbonated sparkle.
