Moorilla Praxis Chardonnay Musqué

Straight from the iconic MONA in Tasmania, this release from Moorilla's Praxis series offers a fascinating take on a very unique grape mutation. While this vintage is slightly lighter on the muscat-like aromatics than previous years, they are still beautifully present. The nose is incredibly inviting, weaving ripe tropical fruit and baked goods with delicate hints of vanilla and rosewater. On the palate, it is deep, juicy, and distinctly Chardonnay-driven. Crisp green apple and nashi pear meet an absolute abundance of citrus—think mandarin, lime zest, and ruby grapefruit. The ample fruit character carries right through to a finish that is gently lifted by that signature, razor-sharp Tasmanian acidity.
