Reckless Brewing Co's 2023 Whisky Barrel-Aged Baltic Porter is a rich, full-bodied brew that blends deep malt character with the warming soul of whisky. Aged for 24 months in barrels from Bathurst Grange Distillery, it pours dark and brooding with aromas of dark toffee, cocoa, subtle smoke and spirit-soaked oak. The palate is bold but balanced, delivering layers of chocolate, roast, and whisky warmth with a smooth, drying finish. At 10.1%, this limited release is a decadent fireside sipper and a true showcase of barrel-ageing patience.
