Reckless Brewing Co's 2024 Rum Barrel-Aged Baltic Porter is a rich and layered winter release, aged for 12 months in rum barrels to add warmth and depth to its already robust base. It pours a deep mahogany with aromas of molasses, cocoa, and spiced oak. On the palate, dark chocolate and toffee swirl with hints of raisin and rum-soaked wood, finishing smooth and slightly dry. At 9.4% ABV, it’s a decadent sipper that balances sweetness, strength, and structure in all the right ways.
