Holy Goat Scottish Export Stout 1897

Inspired by the strong stouts of yore, this Scottish Export Stout is based on a recipe from 1897. It uses a classic grist of pale, brown, and black malts to produce a beer that is strong, dark, and well-hopped with all-British ingredients. In this version, Holy Goat added single-origin Brazilian coffee, cold-steeping freshly ground beans in the finished beer. The result is a roasty, rich, and historically significant stout with a beautiful coffee kick.
