The hazy maestros at Botany’s One Drop Brewing Co. are taking a brilliant homebrew concept and pushing it to the grand stage with Angel Falls. Inspired by the world's tallest waterfall, where the water turns to pure mist before it can ever touch the earth, this unfiltered Double Dry Hopped Double IPA is masterfully engineered to live in that same ethereal, suspended state. It pours a beautifully thick, glowing, and completely opaque straw gold with a pillowy white crown. On the nose, it hits you with a super charged aromatic payload of zesty lime, fresh passionfruit, and crushed gooseberries. The palate is incredibly soft, velvety, and full bodied, leaning on a hefty 20% oat grist and a dual yeast blend to deliver silkiness before unleashing an absolute avalanche of tropical Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, and Nectaron hop oils. It is a world-class juice bomb.
